In Memoriam: Mark Adrian McCabe

The Lindsay Agricultural Society (LAS) and the local farming community are mourning the loss of a visionary leader and friend, Mark Adrian McCabe, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 29, 2026, following a courageous three-year battle with cancer.

Mark was a prominent figure in the City of Kawartha Lakes, well-known as the founder and driving force behind McCabe Tractor Sales Ltd. His deep-rooted passion for agriculture and mechanical expertise transformed a lifelong calling into a state-of-the-art equipment dealership that serves as a cornerstone for local farmers today.

Beyond his business success, Mark was a man of integrity and hard work, traits he passed down to his cherished daughters. He was a familiar face at the Lindsay Ex and throughout the community, always ready with a "tell-it-like-it-is" perspective and a helping hand. Our deepest sympathies go out to his wife, Roberta, his daughters, Meredith and Natalie, and the entire McCabe and Perdue families.
