The Horsemen's Association
Who We Are.
The LEX Horsemen’s Association is a dedicated equestrian committee under the umbrella of the Lindsay Agricultural Society (L.A.S). Its primary mission is to promote horsemanship, sportsmanship, and agricultural education within the Kawartha Lakes region through competitive and fun horse show events.
While the main Lindsay Exhibition (The LEX) is the highlight of the year, the Horsemen’s Association is best known for organizing a multi-show series that runs throughout the spring and summer.

Divisions for Every Level
The LHA is highly regarded for its wide range of divisions, ensuring that everyone from toddlers to retirees can compete:
-
Lead Line & Pee Wee: For the youngest riders (under 8 and 11, respectively).
-
Youth & Senior: Standard age-based competitive brackets.
-
Jack Benny Division: A popular division specifically for riders aged 39 and over, emphasizing that you’re never too old to be in the ring.
-
Green Horse: Designed for young or inexperienced horses to get "mileage" in a low-pressure environment.
-
Ranch & Fun Classes: Includes Ranch Rail and "Mystery" classes that focus on the utility and versatility of the horse.
