The Exhibition kicks of with the Horsepower Weekend September 19th - 20th

What to Expect

Truck Show & Shine: Marvel at an impressive display of big rigs, from classic haulers to modern marvels, all shined up and ready to impress. See who takes home the trophies for the best in show!

Heavy Horse Show: Witness the grace and strength of magnificent heavy horses as they compete in various events—a true spectacle of power and precision.

Antique Farm Equipment Demonstration: Step back in time and experience the workings of vintage farm machinery with live demonstrations.

Touch a Truck: A favourite for the kids (and adults!), get up close and personal with a variety of trucks and vehicles. Honk the horns, explore the cabs, and imagine yourself behind the wheel.

Saturday will have live music throughout the day. With a DJ and beer tent to following the lights and noise show in the evening.

The Exhibition continues September 23rd to the 27th

Livestock Shows: Visit the barns to see various animal competitions, including beef and dairy cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, rabbits, and horses.
Horse Pulls: Traditional heavy horse pulling competitions are a staple of the exhibition.
Agricultural Displays: The Commonwell Exhibition Building showcases local homecrafts, including quilts, preserves, floral displays, vegetables, and other agricultural products.

Grandstand Events: These often feature high-energy entertainment such as truck and tractor pulls, demolition derbies, and extreme sports like freestyle motocross.
Family-Friendly Activities: The fair typically includes midway rides, bouncy castles, face painting, and performances by traveling entertainers (like clowns, magicians, or puppet shows).
Horsepower Weekend: Often held at the start of the fair, this segment focuses on machinery and vehicle displays, where kids often get the chance to sit in tractors or firetrucks.

Vendor Booths: Browse a variety of local vendors offering crafts, services, and commercial goods.
Fair Food: You will find a wide range of classic fair concessions—from poutine and fries to fudge and classic carnival treats.
Community Atmosphere: It is a social hub for the region, bringing together farming families, local businesses, and visitors from surrounding areas.
