In Memoriam: Elma Gladys Irene Corley

The Lindsay Agricultural Society (LAS) is deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Elma Gladys Irene Corley, a cherished lifetime member of our community. Elma passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, in her 99th year.

Elma was a cornerstone of the Lindsay Ex for decades, known for her dedicated volunteer work with homecraft and her expertise as a judge. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to the traditions of the LAS left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of working alongside her. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her children—Keith, Ted, Jean, Janet, and Ian—as well as her 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and extended family.
