Marty Seymour is Farm Credit Canada’s man of mileage. He travels the country talking to policy makers, business leaders and food retailers, identifying trends and opportunities in agriculture.
Marty’s journey started on his parents’ cattle and grain farm in southeast Saskatchewan. As a young man, Marty hitchhiked across northern Ontario. Where he developed his love of travel and connecting with people.
After a decade in sales and marketing, Marty spent five successful years as CEO of Canadian Western Agribition. Marty has done some pretty crazy stuff over the years. He was on a local reality TV show that was a shameless spinoff of Dragons’ Den. He did a charity dance competition in front of 1,000 people. And he enters one rodeo each year to test his fear of failure.
Follow Marty on social media. You’ll see why he does what he does for FCC. Marty celebrates agriculture innovation and the people who make it happen. Marty is driven to know how. How can we work together to make Canadian agriculture even stronger? What is coming that will disrupt agriculture? Hear Marty’s answers to these questions and more in an engaging presentation.
