Grandstand Donation Program

In 2007 the Lindsay Agricultural Society relocated to new fairgrounds on the south edge of Lindsay. The move created more space to expand the fair as well as provide a large and modern facility unlike any other in the area .

The Grandstand - our marquis venue for large scale entertainment and seated events - is already being utilized yearround for a wide variety of events. Snowmobile races, rodeos, auctions, derbies, monster truck shows, concerts, and horse shows are just some of the examples of events being organized by groups that have started to see the potential of our new facility.

New Grandstand

Relocation has been a long and expensive process - one that still has a “ to-do” list. The Society requires your support to finish and further develop the site. The Fundraising Committee of the Lindsay Agricultural Society, is endeavoring to raise $1,000,000 by “selling seats” in the new Grandstand. With 2000 seats in the Grandstand, individual contributions of $500 per seat will make this dream a reality!

Name Plate
Each seat will be marked with a 4”x 1 ½” brass name plate individually engraved as per request.

Your donation will entitle you to:

• A nameplate inscribed and permanently placed on a seat in the Grandstand ( e.g. “ in memory of”, “ for my children”, or simply “ generously donated by”, etc.)

• A charitable tax receipt for the full $ 500 donation!

• Recognition on our website.

The LAS is a not-for-profit organization built on more than a century and a half of community support.

All entries must be made on official entry forms supplied, including all requested information. Each exhibitor must have his/her own entry form. If additional forms are required, they may be obtained from the Lindsay Central Exhibition Office or downloaded and printed from the links below. All entry forms must signed by the exhibitor and forwarded to the Lindsay Central Exhibition Office on or before the closing date of entries. Entry fees (if applicable) and $5.00 exhibitor fee must accompany entry forms. For additional information and rules & regulations concerning entries, please refer to the corresponding prize lists.
