Q. When is the fair?
A: The 2007 Lindsay Central Exhibition will run Wednesday through Sunday - September 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, and 23rd.
Q. What are the Admission rates? Are advance passes available?
A: Admission prices vary according to age and day. Admission price details can be found on the ‘Admission’ page. There are no advance gate passes.
Q. What time do the gates & buildings open?
A: Admission Gates will open daily at 8:00 am , Buildings will open Wednesday at 12 Noon; Thursday to Sunday at 10:00 am. For more details, visit the ‘Admissions’ page or click on ‘Admission’ on the top navigation bar.
Q. How do I get to the fairgrounds?

Q. How do I make an entry?

Q. How do children enter work in the fair?
A: Children of school age may enter junior arts, crafts & produce exhibits through their school with no fee required (please contact your school co-ordinator). Youth classes in Homecraft divisions are listed in the ‘Homecraft’ Prize List PDF, 209KB (page 13). All other classes require an exhibitor fee.
Q. When can I get my competition entries back?
A: Exhibits are to be picked up Monday, Sept 24, 2007 (10 am – 7 pm), or during the remainder of the week (9 am – 5 pm).

Q. When are the Demolition Derbies?
A: Two nights of Demolition Derbies are scheduled - Friday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 6:00 pm. Further information can be obtained by visiting the ‘Demo Derby’ page on this site.
Q. How do I enter a car in the Demolition Derby?

Q. Is there an additional charge to view grandstand shows (i.e. Concerts, Demo Derbies, Truck & Tractor Pulls)?
A: All grandstand shows are FREE with your gate admission.
Q. Is there a Bank Machine on the grounds?
A: A Bank Machine is located in the Midway.
Q. How do I apply for vendor space at the fair?
A: Persons interested in applying for vendor space must submit a completed Concession Application Form to the Lindsay Central Exhibition office. Further details, including application forms/rules & regulations can be found on our concession page. Please note, applications for candy or food vendors are not being accepted at this time.
Q. Are there some local accommodations near the fairgrounds that you could recommend?

Q. Where can I get agri-food industry education material for my students?
A: Ontario Agri-Food Education Inc. (www.oafe.com) provides a wide variety of resource material and information that enhances the ability of teachers and learners to understand the value and importance of an agri-food system. All resources link the content and agri-food concepts to the curriculum expectations in the Ontario Ministry of Education Curriculum Guidelines. Teachers are also encouraged to visit the Agricultural Awareness displays located in the Agriculture-Horticulture Pavilion for curriculum based educational resources.
Q. Can we bring our dog to the Fair?
A: Dogs are not permitted on the grounds. (Exception: dogs participating in the Children’s Dog Show on Sunday morning are permitted for the duration of the Dog Show only & must leave the grounds immediately following the show).
Q. Can I be a volunteer?
A: There are many opportunities to contribute your skills & ideas. More help is always welcome. Contact any of the Directors listed in this website or contact the fair office.
Q: What are the midway prices?
A: The price for an Advance Pay-One-Price Passports is $28
Regular Ride Coupon Prices are; 1 Coupon for $1.50, 15 Coupons for $20.00, 20 Coupons for $25.00 or 45 Coupons for $45.00.
Q: How many coupons are requiered per ride?
A: 1 to 3 coupons are required per ride.
Q: When does the midway open?
A: The midway is open from Wednesday at 1 PM, Thursday at 11AM and Friday to Sunday at 10AM
Q: Where can I purchase Advance Pay-One-Price Passports?
A: Advance Pay-One-Price Passports are available only at Loblaws in Lindsay from September 4th to 18th, 2007. Loblaws store hours are; Monday to Friday 8AM to 9PM, Saturday from 7:30AM to 7:30PM, Sunday from 9AM to 6PM.
Q: When can I use the Pay-One-Price Passport?
A: Advance Pay-One-Price Passports are good any one day of the fair and do not include gate admission or parking fees.
